Clinics
Minor Surgery
Minor surgery procedures including removal of warts, cysts, verrucae and some moles, are arranged according to demand.
Travel Advice And Immunisation
Travel advice and immunisation is available from the practice nurse. There is a charge for some vaccinations. Please ask at reception for details.
Contraception Services
Contraception services are available from the doctors during routine surgery hours. Coil fitting takes a little longer and special arrangements with the doctor have to be made. Emergency contraception is available and patients are seen on an urgent basis. Please help us to help you by informing the receptionist if you need this service.
Nurse-Led Clinics
Our practice nurses hold diabetes, hypertension, respiratory disease, healthy heart and smoking cessation clinics.
Tests And Results
Most tests (blood tests, ECG, X-rays, smears) are done either in the surgery, at the Swaffham Community Hospital or at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn.
Please bring samples to the surgery before 11.30am as they are sent to the hospital at 12 noon.
The results of different tests take varying lengths of time to come back. Please telephone reception for results between 2.00 and 4.00pm. Please do not ring for test results before 2.00pm as phone lines are likely to be busy.
To maintain confidentiality, results will only be given to the patient concerned or, if under 16 years, a parent or guardian.
Elderly Health Checks
We offer annual health checks to all our patients over the age of 75 years. These are arranged at the surgery. If you are unable to attend the surgery due to illness or frailty, a home visit can be arranged.
Well Person Checks
Well Woman and Well Man checks can be arranged through reception.
